Promotion Request get automatically Terminated, even if approver approve it, it get rejected automatically.

Hi All,

In Windchill 10.1, Promotion Request get terminated automatically even approvers Approve it, but its shows Rejected status.

It gives "Promotion Request validation Error" on e-mail message.

Nothing find related in MS logs.

How we can resolve this issue.

Please guide us.

There is a conditional in the workflow template that confirms that the data can be promoted - look at the executed workflow process and see if that conditional is gray (was executed) and the path to Reject was via that conditional. If true, then the reason is the Affected Objects, not the approval tasks.

I experience the same error. Can you in any way see what object in the promotion request that is the object that can not be promoted?

Are you promoting advanced configurables?

Because this comment can be found within the express of that robot.

If any of the promotion targets are Advanced Configurable Generics the

baseline used during collection needs to be set on the generic as the

default baseline to properly support Options and Variants. If none of

the promotion targets are Advanced Configurable Generics, this method will

simply return.
