The Concensus is to use a variation of the Search Capability. That as log as you are searching per context then you have the Promotion Icon. Migrated almost everything to a single Product so this is a useable solution.
So for unrelated items that you recently checked in:
You Can do an Advanced Search of WGM Type:
1. Do a multiple File Name Search (Acts as Or) -Collects all in One Seach Window.
2. Do a Last Modified (Today) and Created By (User)
3. Use an Parameter to Control
I have seen at a few companies the use of a common parameter, normally ECN. This site had such a parameter in all of their objects but it is not modified.
We have decided to modify the ECN parameter with Revision Change, therefore you can search on the ECN Number and therefore Mass Promote.
That's the future Plan. Currently Site using Set State so they can change while within the Workspace.
