I have a task to reconnect WTPart structure. I have app requirement to reconnect wtpart Structure, same as epmdoc structure.
Parent/Child Relationships, etc.
With improper check-ins, migration, etc their wtpart structure is broken.
I have code to create, renumber & associate wtparts to all children in a epmdoc structure.
But I am missing the code to relate the wtparts in the proper &/or same parent/child structure the epmdoc structure.
Notice I said proper, if same as, if not correct.
I am looking at migration & upgrade code, because I am sure when link cad objects are migrated into windchill, the migrator generates the proper wtpart structure. I am also looking at the WTPartCreator code, but its odd.
I imagine the same with upgrade code. But instead of looking in migration, upgrade & creatorcode for hours/days, Iassume I will still do it the wrong or hard way & probably with too much trial & error.
So I figure one of the gurus here has done the same already.
So any snippets, import paths, classes/methods, etc would be helpful.
