We've got a performance issue with our replication.
The issue
When downloading documents which are stored on the replication server
and not yet synchronized back to the master it takes about 10 times
longer to download these files while connected to the master (that is
until the automatic synchronisation has run).
The documents are also not replicated back Ad-Hoc.
The environment
We are testing replication in Intralink 9.1 to the replication server.
Replication to the replica and synchronisation back to the master is set
to once a day.
Both servers are still located in the same building so all traffic must
be going through the LAN.
All functionality works like expected:
Opening files from the master when connected to the master: 18 secs
Opening files from the replica when connected to the replica: 18 secs
Opening not yet replicated files from the master when connected to the
