Request Integration of Solidworks Design Library with Windchill

Our company is using Windchill 12.0.2.10, SolidWorks 2020. According to PTC TS, SolidWorks design library feature is not supported in the current or newer versions of Windchill Workgroup Manager.

After inserting a standard component into the assembly by drag and drop, and then saving the assembly to the workspace, Windchill does not recognize this standard component as a CAD document, only as a ghost file.

Someone has raised the same issue in the link below, but I can't see an improvement.

We have an workaround as mentioned below, but we still hope PTC R&D team will consider implementing this feature in the future, just like toolbox.

1. in Windchill, upload all standard component to a shared library 
2. in SolidWorks, add Windchill File System location as a Design Library, such as C:\Users\User Name\Documents\PTC Places\Commonspace\Libraries\Library Name\Standard Component

Yes, this is really required for Solidworks routing design.
