SQL for Workspace objects

Hello

I am looking for sql or ?? to view objects in users workspaces. Hopefully the version/revision of those objects.

I know I can do it on windchill, but sure about intralink. Then compare to files of same name/number
in commonspace.

The purpose it to see which users have models they have not ever checked into commonspace &/or
not checked in the latest ver/rev.

I am migrating from ilink 3.4 to 9.1 & need to know which users are ignoring requests for all work
to be checked in.

I had contacted M Mettes (which im sure he'll have an idea about this sql code, if its possible), But
it was to his work email & he might not see it till monday. I can wait till then, but thought I would try
all inlink gurus also.

Thanks

I guess an alternate route would be to write/run sql to see what objects in commonspace, that are checked out into a workspace.

IM trying to see who has not checked in latest work & also who has models in workspace, that has never been checked in.

If there is no sql ot toolkit, etc that can read the contents of a workspace, maybe I can still see objects in db that have been checked
out to a workspace.

Thanks

Much better to approach using a query builder report in Windchill rather than directly using sql.

IM looking for an intralink 3.4 solution to viewing users workspace objects.

There are many methods to viewing, checking in (upgrade classes/methods), etc for workspaces in windchill.

I just need to know if users are not checking in their work from their intralink 3.4 workspaces.

Hi

I'd suggest SQL can't help you here: it looks in the dataserver, while you're trying to look atindividual workspaces.

When I previously prepared for major Intralink upgrades, I used an Intralink UI Script to check the status of colleagues workspaces across 12 servers.

It was called on startup, and would run silently, logging in as a guest user and printing workspace contents to text files, relaying them back to a server. Then scripts produced web-page lists of usernames, workspace/new/modified item counts, clickable links to show, etc, etc. It would run only once a week, or as required...

It helped me follow up with individuals at risk of losing data during impending upgrades.

I've searched my computers but can't find the .java file - if I do come across it I'll post.
