Using Pro/Intralink 9.1 and Wildfire 4.0
When we "save a copy" files such as STEP, Shrinkwrap, etc. Pro/E always checks the box "Save new files to model's CAD Document". Lots of users get tripped up by this and can't find the model that they just converted. They're not used to looking for attachments in the CAD Document metadata.
We generally don't want attachments to CAD Documents because it's an extra "payload" to carry around the system, too.
Is there a config.pro option or Windchill preference to disable this option by default?
What about a preference / OIR / policy, etc. to disable attachments for CAD Documents? (I'm not sure I like the policy method, because won't Pro/E's default behavior constantly be butting heads with the policy?)
