Save to Workspace/Check-In from Remote Site

Hi all,

We have configured Replica server for PDMLink 10.1 with CATIA Workgroup Manager.

Currently, when we perform "Save to Workspace" or "Check-In" action from CATIA/WGM at Remote Site, the CAD data file is being uploaded/checked-in directly to the Master Site.

We have checked that the Replica configuration is as per the PTC manual.

What could be wrong in our configuration?

have a look in the User preferences

In windchill 10, in top right

Quick Links/My settings/Preferences/Vaulting and Replication/Preferred File Server

may be you're set to "master"

Yes, that preference has been correctly set.

Hi,

Make sure on below points:

1. That when you do Broadcast Configuration, it doesn't thrown any exception - Site - Utilities - External Storage Administrator - Vault Configuration - select the replica site and hit File - Broadcast Configuration.

2. Make sure that the Replica Vault(s) and Replica Folders are declared and defined properly for cache, enabled, as writeable and that they had not gone read only.
