Allocating a serial number in a PartInstance we get this message:
CANNOT ADD SERIAL NUMBER MAPPING: THE PATH IS NOT VALID FOR THE INSTANCE
We commonly use serial number allocations and we never got this error before.
It appears there is something wrong with that particular PartInstance, but we cannot understand what's the problem.
There's nothing regarding it in documnetation and even technical support is having difficulties in explaining this behaviour.
