When you perform major updates etc inside Windchill system, do you
follow a certain standard to test and validate it?
Is there a recommended guidelines, best practices and/or templates that
you use?
We are in the verge of importing BOMs from our MRP system to Windchill
test environment.
So next week we will be performing testing and validation on the
imported BOM and also test the process that go with managing it.
I am planning to prepare some template (word document or an excel
spreadsheet) to record use cases, the results of the testing, issues
encountered, solutions used to fix those etc.
Please share any ideas and best practices you may have experienced.
(also templates if you have any that you can share)
