I received the following from PTC support.
Follow the instructions to Troubleshooting DTI (Server Errors or connection problems to Windchill) .
* This tests three different areas of DTI and will help isolate a problem area without running through complete DTI operations.
* The WSDL Test and Connect Test should be run on any system where users are unable to establish a connection with a Windchill server from DTI.
* The Upload test should be run on any system that gets an error when DTI uploads a file like a create or update operation.
* Any failures in any of these three tests are typically caused by LDAP configuration issues. The customer should be asked if they have made any configuration changes to LDAP recently. You will most likely need to get someone with LDAP Info*Engine experience involved.....
When I asked which document tells you how to do these tests I was told, "There is no such document available on web."
Anyone know how to perform these tests?
