WC and M365 Basic Auth deprecation

Hi

we are currently looking for an alternative approach to modernize email delivery from WC 13.0.2 using Microsoft 365.

At the moment in our environment Windchill use the Basic Authentication for SMTP, which is expected to be deprecated by April 2026 (unless postponed, again).
How PTC suggest to handle this transition (OAuth2? Relay?)

Have you looked into a mail relay like postfix? Perhaps I am not doing it right either but Postfix just relays emails to the actual mail server host without authentication. Have you also looked at this article?
