WindChill Business Reporting

Our consultant was trying to install Windchill Business reporting this weekend and ran into an issue. The error we got was: Cognos doesn't support SQL server 2012 or 2008 R2......well we are running R2. Is there another version of WBR software we should install, anyone else run into this issue?

I too ran into this issue. Tech support said that it was not possible and not supported. I have heard that there is a back door way around it, but do not know how. At the conference this year, PTC said that it was going to be updated soon. I just don't remember which 10.x version and which date code. I also do not seem to see it in my notes after a quick glance.

We are running 10.0 M040 here...I looked at the compatibility matrix:

Cognos: SQL Server 2005 & 2008

WC: SQL Server 2008 R2 & 2012

So does this mean that I cannot install Cognos at all....that we cannot use Business Reporting? How are we supposed to print Change Management Documents?
