Hello WC admins,
Has anyone successfully deployed Windchill 9.1 (multi-tiered system ie: 1 physical server for master, 2 physical servers for 2 slaves, 1 physical server for 2 oracle 11g databases) on Linux RHEL 5.6, for TWO instances (let’s call them DEV1 and DEV2). We would like to save money on hardware by doing that.
To clarify each physical server would be “divided into half” One half would be DEV1 second half would be DEV2. Database part is done and two databases are running just fine from one physical server (of course different ports, SIDs etc) There are some issues with application installation and I'm working "actively" with PTC support...
I’m not looking into virtual servers yet 🙂
Any comments/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
