Windchill Error when user tries to open a file

One of our users selects a file's name to open the file and gets a screen that says Windchill error. The error also appears when the user selects check out and download. Anybody else seen this issue?

What if another user access the same file from a different user name?

Can you post a screen-shot of the error?

Do you use replication and replica servers in your installation?

Have you checked the Method Server log? There should be a more descriptive error printed to log at the time the error occurred in the UI.

Unfortunately there are many, many ways that can happen, we need more details. What exactly does the error say, and what access level does the user have to the files in question?

I'm going to guess that this issue has long since been resolved, but, Craig, if you found a solution or can explain what the error was it would definitely be beneficial for the community.
