Windchill Modelling - What should be the correct variables/ distribution settings for RBD Modelling

Hi all,

I am currently using Windchill Risk and Reliability version 11.1 I have a few questions which I hope can provide more clarity in my work.

Currently, I am working to analyse and produce the most optimal RBD calculation options.

Scope: I am looking to analyse the availability and reliability of an electrical system in a time span of 5 years (43800 hours).

I would like to know the correct and optimal procedure to input my data for my distribution to account for every equipment. Currently, I have used Expontential Distribution settings for respective equipment that have provided in failure rate and MTBF data.

Currently, the failure rate is being included as failure rate per year, whereas the MTBF is shown in years.
Q1)Am I supposed to convert the values into Failure Rate Per Million Hours (FPMH)?

Q2) Do I need to adjust the distribution into Normal, Lognormal, Weibull, Rayleigh, Uniform. Time Independent or Constant Time variable? Is there a respective setting that should be configured to MTBF and failure rate per year?

Q3) How do I include the MTTR data for a respective equipment? Currently, my results for Availability and Reliability results are the same.

Settings are shown below:

I will appreciate any advice given. Thanks in advance. Cheers!
