Workflow Automation

I need to be able to automate some processes in my workflow.

From what I can tell the workflow robots route seems to be the way to go, but I am not finding much in the way of documentation.

I need this robot to be a java class which can then perform a set of processes on the current content and move it to a new state.

If anyone has any pointers in terms of where to locate the documentation and or any samples I would appreciate that.

ok, so after much more searching and reading, it seems info*Engine may just be the way to go.

Either one will require java.

You need to skip over to ptcuser.org and sign up for the windchill solutions e-mail blaster subscription service. It requires registration, but once you are in, not only will you get better help on this, you'll be able to search within examples posted before PTC added this discussions area to their website. I personally use the other site and don't like to cross post things. Food for thought.
