check-in notifications

Gurus,

How can I receive a notification that a part or assembly in my workspace
has been changed on the server? In my workspace I'm staring at all these
red check marks thinking my colleagues are still working on the design
when in fact they checked in hours ago. Apparently my red check marks
will go away after a workspace-synchronize. How would I know to do that
unless my colleague tells me? I'm hoping PDMLink is smart enough to tell
me that updates are available.

My company is finally looking into electronic sign-offs for our released
drawing procedure. How does Adobe digital signature compare to PDMLink
Electronic Signature? Any thoughts, experience, or pointers are
appreciated.





What is this thing? Does it put an image on the drawing?
