Is there a compelling reason why the intralink admin should also have access
to the actual machine?
I was thinking
1)restart ilink server with faster response than IT department
2)similarly with FlexLM
3)be able to get data dumps for reports or for intralink test installs
5)be able to do missing item reports and well just because the management
utility is run from that machine
6) anything else???
7) additional cool software development?
😎 stuff that the admin can install exists? and should go in the server?
basically IT owns our server and its very difficult to have them do anything
with it even if in the end its us who do it.
any ideas? How about the opposite? its less headache for us etc etc?
