Hello fellow user group members!



I am looking for someone to help me develop the next generation PDM system
for TRW Automotive. You will work closely with me on a daily basis on a
highly custom Windchill 6.2.6 environment, Windchill Projectlink 8.0 M010,
and soon to be launched slightly customized Windchill PDMLink 9.1 M050 for
CATIA V5 data (with a potentially fast upgrade to Windchill 10.x in late
2012. Eventually, our planned 9.1 system will have upwards of 10,000 users
around the world and will require 24/7 uptime.



I am looking for someone who is self-starter, interested in learning more
about the system (more then they know now) and is willing to sometimes put
in the extra effort up front to make things easier for the team in long run.
You may also be expected to educate other team members who do not know as
much about the system. Previous experience with Windchill customization is
required. You may have to pass a test as part of an interview process.



Relocation will be considered. Position is based in Washington Township,
Michigan. A very nice part of Michigan. If your Java and software
engineering knowledge is stronger than your Windchill knowledge, you will

I have worked the last three years as a PDMLink developer encompassing both system and application development. System-side I installed, built, upgraded, migrated, and constructed virtual machine appliances of complete Windchill 9.x solutions . My work was end-to-end complete, from OS (AIX and Redhat), database (Oracle 10g), CAD workers, vaults, and Windchill app servers.

On application development side, I coded a quotation system per client's specifications. System consisted of a java 6 app running on glassfish that interfaced with Windchill infoEngine on Windchill app server. Coded client-side app in DHTML, CSS, javascript, and server-side Java and JDBC (Oracle). Implemented Windchill document lifecycles and workflows. Designed and implemented tables for application data in a separate tablespace on the Oracle database. Coded webject tasks in a subfolder of Windchill codebase.

My full lifecycle development experience goes back many years, the most recent (5 years) in Java EE, Oracle, DB2, RedHat, and AIX.
