We had the setting set to 50 then reduced it to 15 and now the the workspace freezing has been reduced, the task is completed but the workspace wouldn't refresh, it just hung and the session has to be killed and restarted.Does anyone experience issues with frames set above 0?

We have a default of 10 but don't generally have user complaints on this. Some users have increased their own preferences above 10. We have other issues that might be masking these issues though.
