Hyperlink in Primary content

Can I create a link within the contents of a document that will link to and open another existing document file in the system? Can it be set to open only the most current released and effective?

Hi


in 9.1 there was a Link to Shortcut link. You just needed to copy it and paste it anywhere. It was a direct link to the content of that particular version. Users were only prompted to log in and the file downloaded automatically.


I have not found the equivalent link in 10.1. However after experience we noticed that while it seemed a good idea, the users never new which specific version they downloaded. So we ended up linking to the information page. At least there the user could see if he or she was looking at the latest or not iteration.
