Shading in Drawing

In the drawing module, the Shading option in the view Properties -> View Display -> Display Style is disabled. Is it possible to produce shading views in drawings? Is there a variable that is not set properly in my config? Please help.

set "enable_shaded_view_in_drawings" to yes in your config.pro file

That variable is already set to "Yes" and the "Shading" remains unavailable. Do you know if there is another setting that can make this option available? Or is it a question of module? Thanks for your help,

im really not sure. one more thing, did you check your "drawing option" if "model_display_for_new_views" can be set to "shading"?
