Hello,
after deinstalling a parallel Mathcad 14 installation and registering Mathcad to Net, the converter into Prime 2.0 works but all the OLE components have gone. What are the best options I have to be productive again with both Mathcad 15 and Prime 2.0.
PS: I already have re-installed Mathcad 15 without any changes at all.
PSS: I did find some hints towards using regall.bat, but this relates to Mathcad 8, what is the procedure with Mathcad 15
many thanks
best regards
Normally I would say that you should run mcregister.exe in the Mathcad15 folder as Administrator, but as you wrote in another thread (http://communities.ptc.com/message/199069#199069) you already did.
Maybe it helps to find mcmreg.exe, start it and navigate to the *.mcm files in the Mathcad15/mcm folder and register them that way.
Thanks, I guess regsitering ocx is something different. May be removing
caused the problem.
Would it be possibile installing the 2008 version?
thanks

You are right, my fault.
May be removing
Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Redistributable Package
caused the problem.

That sure will be the cause. I don't think that version 2008 will do good as the preinstallation instructions for Mathcad 15 insist on Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Redistributable Package SP1 (x86) (otherwise they would have added: or higher). YOu can download it here: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/de-de/details.aspx?FamilyID=200b2fd9-ae1a-4a14-984d-389c36f85647
I'm not sure but maybe you have to (re)install Mathcad after the installation of this pack.
Hope it helps.
Hello,
I did the manual regsvr32 *.ocx job, and Heureka! it works
Can you please be more descriptive? I am having this same problem; controls dont work but web controls do. I tried restarting my computer, repairing, uninstalling and re-installing, I tried the "mcmreg.exe" fix from this thread:
