Hello!We have 2 users with 2 different computers reporting the same issue with their prime files.I don’t know if it has something to do with the latest august Windows 11 Cumulative update (KB5121003)?The issue started happening yesterday after the users updated their Windows 11.When we try to Save as PDF or use the Print function we get the same errors. And we have tried several PDF printers. It only creates a .PDF file with 0kb in size. I uploaded 2 files that we are experiencing this issue with.

It is said that in order to run PTC Mathcad Prime, you must have the latest Microsoft .NET Desktop Runtime 8.0.x package for Windows x64 installed on your computer. At the same time .NET 8 end of life (EOL) is November 10, 2026 – after this date, Microsoft issues no further security patches or bug fixes. EOL means real risk: unpatched vulnerabilities, compliance failures... Am I missing something? It seems rather serious. It looks as if I have to skip the latest version. Does Mathcad Prime v12 work with .NET 10?

Hello. I'm using Mathcad Prime 10.0.1.0 and I'm having trouble saving to PDF. Neither the built-in PDF export nor Microsoft Print to PDF works. I found this thread, but the solution seems to apply only to version 12, not version 11 or earlier. Hi there , I don’t know why I’m having this problem with Mathcad sheet . I used to convert it easily , but it is not working anymore . Does anyone know the reason?Thanks Yusra  

Was wondering if there is a way to mod or get mathcad to add geometric algebra (or Clifford algebra diff name) into mathcad. THis would include multivectors, the wedge product and the geometric product? Not sure if there is any modding of mathcad at all for reference  

My employer purchased mathcad for 3 of us, however despite IT saying mathcad is installed, it is only the trial version. I need to get the product key/code so I can utilize the license we paid for. To date, I have never been able to use the purchased version of mathcad and it was purchased about 3 months ago. please assist.

I cannot print to PDF when text contains Calibri font type. As soon as I change the font type to something else, such as Arial, the file will print to PDF without issue. I and several associates are encountering the exact same issue. We are using MathCAD Prime 12.0.0.1. Is this a known issue? Will it be fixed in a future update?

I would like to READTEXT from text file which would form a two-column matrix.  That part is easy.  Then I would like to copy the contents of the first matrix to a second matrix, then use that second matrix for other purposes, but unlinked to the first matrix.

Hello. I am a student at Næstved Zealand and we use the free trial version of mathcad here. I have gotten a new computer and need to download it again but i am not able to. I keep filling out the blanket where it says: Free 30-day trial of Mathcad engineering calculations software. But when i finish it says i need to wait hours to get an email with a download link. But i never get this download link i have waited days and tried over and over. Is it possible to help me please?

Is there a way to automate the collapse or expansion of areas depending on user input above in a worksheet?  Maybe by use of JScript or Python?

I’m trying to develop a robust approach for analyzing different configurations of a four-bar mechanism in Mathcad Prime. I’m looking to determine the corresponding angles for the crank, coupler, and rocker based on the mechanism dimensions and input configuration.I’ve tried a few different approaches and, interestingly, I’m getting different results depending on how I formulate the equations. I’m not sure if I’m missing something fundamental in my approach or perhaps overcomplicating the worksheet.I don’t work extensively with Mathcad Prime, so I may be overlooking a reference, function, or recommended approach that would make this easier. I’m also finding it a little difficult to identify the right reference/example for what I’m trying to achieve.The ultimate goal is to build one generalized worksheet that can handle different types/configurations of four-bar mechanisms under the same set of equations, rather than creating a separate solution for each mechanism.Any suggestions on the

I cant get the license to work in my MathCad for the trial

I uploaded some Excel files into M365 to convert into Mathcad Prime 11. The files created did not open in Mathcad Prime 11. Can anybody please help. Please see attached zip file.

This month’s challenge is about tautochrone curves and isochronous curves. They are very similar. Both involve placing an object on the curve and allowing it to slide without friction. With a tautochrone, an object placed at any point on the curve will take the same time to slide to the bottom. With isochronous curves, objects allowed to slide from any part of the curve will have the same period of oscillation. You can think of the tautochrone as “half” of the isochronous curve, as it is only concerned with how long it takes the object to reach the bottom.In this scenario, the “top” of the tautochrone curve is at a height of 10 meters on the left side. The end point is at ( 0, 0 ). (The “top” of the isochronous curve on the other side is 10 meters on the right side.) Design a curve such that an object placed at any point on the curve will take the same time to slide without friction to the end point under the effect of uniform gravity. Examples of three possible solutions from Creo 13.

I have a student version of Mathcad 15 that I was using years ago.Now, I want to install it on a new laptop and open my old files, but I receive an error from remote server during the installation.Can anybody help me with this process?Picture below shows the error message that I receive while trying to install the software. Thanks, 

I do not recieve e-Mail from PTC when it says to go to my email during the acquisition of the 30 days trial license.
