Accepting an edit of dimension

Accepting an edit of dimension

Creo 4.0 M060.

I recently (actually is has been a little while, but I just figured it out) noticed a change where after editing a dimension in a model, I used to click the middle mouse button to accept the change. Now I have to click the left mouse button twice. It is not a big change once you figure it out. Has anyone else noticed other changes?

Thanks,

Dale

You noted that to OK a dimension editing LMB was required and MMB not anymore.

Traditionnally and still going, MMB is the validation button to OK any Creo menu.

After firing my own Creo 4.0 and 8.0, i was unable to replicate your issue:

  • LMB cancels the change
  • MMB OK it

What version was working for you exactly?

Did someone change your mouse settings so the LMB acts as the OK instead of MMB?

I was wondering the same thing, but I don't notice anything different in the settings.

I do have a vertical mouse, but that shouldn't make a difference.

now that you're saying you have a vertical mouse, by chance, I recently was delivered one for lefties and by default the buttons are inverted. And it looks like it hardwired like that.

Not sure about right hand vertical mouse, but there is that.

Do you have chance to try with a regular mouse or if Creo is on a laptop with the touchpad?
