Hi,
do you have some idea/tip related to following topic ?
What reliable Creo tools or functions are usable for the accurate development (flattening) of cold formed aircraft sheetmetal parts, for example wing and fuselage covering ?
Such parts are almost always complex surfaces having non-zero Gauss curvature.
The flattened sheetmetal parts containing many holes for rivets should be so precise that when neighboring parts after cold forming will go together then all holes of the first neighboring part fit to all holes of the second one for easy and fast riveting, see attached pictures.
Creo sheetmetal features do not work for such parts, Flat Pattern of complex surface is unaccurate and cannot be influenced by any parameters, ...
Is Pro/DIEFACE still useable?
Thank for your answers.
