Adding logos to a drawing in Creo

We have the need to insert several logos like UL, or CSA into drawings, we are having issues getting them to load, the only way we can get it to work is to insert a corel-draw file, it wont load a Jpeg or tiff. any help as to how to insert logos from other companies stored at a jpeg?

If you are using Creo1 or Creo2
it may be the same in Wildfire 5

Select:

"Layout"
"object"
"create new"
select "Microsoft Office Word document"
this will create a white box on your drawing and will open the ribbon for Microsoft word
Re-size the white box to any size - you can modify it later.
Click on "Insert" and then "picture"
when asked, locate and select your jpeg file.

now comes the haed part - you need to get out of Microsoft word.
Double click and accept somewhere in your drawing
and wait for a while, it usually takes some time for Word to exit and return to your drawing.
Sometimes you have to click several times to get Word to release your drawing.

Click and re-size your picture.

It takes time to get the hang of it.

It is a real pain!!!!

thanks! Fred that works like a charm, thank you very much.

I have a BOM on my assembly drawing. Item #1 on the list is the main
assembly itself. Is there an easy way to filter this out of the table
or just delete it?

Thanx

Yes. On the table tab, select repeat region, filters, select the table
(repeat region) and then select 'by item' and 'exclude' and select the
row in the table you would like excluded.

I'm doing this in WF5, but the menus still seem to be 'old school'
