Angle measurement from a coordinate system not consistent?

I have an assembly that I am trying to make some features inside a part follow the angle that a datum curve intersects a coordinate system.

I create an analysis feature that measures where the curve (straight line) intersects the coordinate system. It shows the rotations about each axis.

Then I want a second coordinate system inside the part to align with this curve (which axis I don't care). It's rotation relative to the primary csys has flexibility defined.

My problem is the numbers don't line up. The rotations I am being given in the analysis feature make no sense. There are a bunch of blue arrows and yellow "flip" arrows that don't really make any sense.

Has anyone done something similar?
