Assembly Reference models grayed out

New Creo user here.   When adding a component to an assembly the assembly is grayed out.  Isn't there a way to temporary switch the grayed out models to fully shaded to help in identifying the surfaces to constrain to? Thanks

add the following option into config.pro file:

preserve_comp_color_in_preview yes
