Hello,
I have an assembly that includes various fastening elements such as bushings, bolts, etc. I would like to create a workshop drawing, just for the bushings. On one sheet, I want to have all the bushings that are in the assembly, with different views, and a table with the name and quantity of each bushing in the assembly, and of course, marked with a BOM. I am trying to do this, but I am having trouble linking the table to the assembly and individual parts. Is it even possible to do this?
Thanks !
I think if you make a drawing sheet with a view(s) of only your bushings and then create a BOM table for that sheet, it should pick up only those items. If it picks up all items, you can remove those lines of the items not shown on that sheet. Repeat for other items on other sheets.
Make a Simplified Rep at the assy level, and then add the BOM on the dwg when that rep is the current rep for the dwg. The Rep has to be current before you add that BOM. You can have both that Rep and the Master Rep (or any others) in the same dwg with different BOMS for each purpose.
