Hello,
I have a GA drawing with several sub-assemblies comprising a bolt, a nut and
2 washers.
I have been asked to annotate the drawing with a BOM balloon showing the
item number and, in the case of the washers, a note showing quantity '2 in
24 places'. Pro/E, naturally, wants to show a quantity of 48. I have created
a teeny tiny detail view, which I have placed off the drawing format, and
placed the BOM balloon on that detail view. I then split the balloon
quantity, and put another balloon with a quantity of 2 on the main drawing.
Finally, I created a note which referred to the pattern parameter to yield
the '24 places'. Naturally, I related the note to the balloon.
Is this the best way, or is there a cunniing method that I have not thought
of?

Thanks,
John
