I'm just starting to learn cabling. I've created a 3 conductor cable and placed it into an assembly. However, the conductors that come out of the cable are going in the wrong direction and for the life of me, I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong. Please look at the attached screenshot and point me in the right direction.

Here is my cabling workflow.
1) Create a connector with one or more coordinate systems to be used as entry ports
2) Create assembly and add connector to it
3) Go into applications->cabling and create new harness part using the default template
4) Create a cable spool with 3 conductors; enter min bend rad and thickness
5) Enter bend rad and thickness for each conductor
6) Designate the connectors.
7) Define the entry ports (wire and round)
😎 Click route cables and create a new cable feature
9) Define the from and to entry ports for the cable
10) Define the from and to entry ports for each connector
11) Click ok
I’ve attached another picture with the entry port coordinate systems visible.
When I follow these steps, I get the conductors exiting the cable in the wrong direction. What am I missing? I can't find any way to "flip" the conductors so they exit the cable in the correct manner.
I've tried reducing the bend radius and moving the cable entry port CSYS further away from the wire entry port on the connector and reversing the Z direction of the cable entry port CSYS. None of these things had any impact on how the conductors exit the cable. I must be doing something wrong, but I’ve searched this forum and Google to no avail.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
With help from the guys at SW Research Institute, I finally figured out my problem. First, you can't use a 3 conductor cable and route it to 3 different connectors. I was trying to route the cable to a entry port (round) and the conductors (wire) to different connectors and nothing was working.
Here is what worked. 1) Designate the entry port (wire) on the 3 connectors. 2) Create a network route using points. 3) Insert 3 wires using the via network option. This routed all 3 wires correctly. 4) Create a bundle specifying the end points of the network route and a new spool.

Ok, I stand corrected. What I was missing all along was the right-click in the From/To selection boxes and getting the context menu that allows me to select a location. Assigning the cable to the entry ports (round) is definitely the wrong thing to do!
While bundling still works, the method Jim demonstrates is much easier...
