Change default naming of coordinate systems in PE5(pics added)

Hello,

I would like to know how to change default naming of coodinate systems in ProEngineer 5, so instead of CS# (where # means a sequential number of created coordinate system - you see this on the picture) I can create for example P1 and then I use Pattern to create coordinate systems from P2 to P24. As you see in the picture I need to edit connector with entry ports and I would like to name the male connector's entry ports like P# and female connector's entry ports S#. This would save me a lot of time with editing my database of connectors and manual renaming every coordinate system (entry port).

Thanks for your answers,

cheers

Simon

Hi

Out of the box your requirement is not supported in the current software. I believe you could create a small toolkit app that would provide and efficient method of re-naming the csys to a pre-defined format.

Is this a common problem for everyone?

thanks, Jim
