Checking tangency of surfaces

Hi all, I want to check which surfaces are tangent to a particular surface in my part. Is there any way to check it? It is possible in solidworks. Thanks Ankur

Hello Ankur, To Analyze Tangency inside ProEngineer we have a few tools. The most direct is Analysis > Geometry > Dihedral Angle, which will allow you to select the edge boundary between the two surfaces. A value of less than 0.05 is tangent (0.00 being perfect). A few other tools to view models also found under Analysis > Geometry > Curvature, Shaded Curvature, Slope, and Reflection. Good luck, Joel
