Control offset cross section display

Is there any way to control the side of an offset (sketched) cross
section that is removed?  I know I can go in and 'flip' it to show the
other side, but I'm dealing with a moderately large assembly and it
takes a long time to display the section, and then the same long time to
display it again when flipped.  I always want it displayed the other
way, but I've there doesn't seem to be a way to control it, at least on
an offset section.
