Create new part by reference item

Hello! I need some help. I want to create a new part .I have a reference part for this,i want to modify any dimenision for new part.How is the most fast mode for this?

Part is a shaft .

Open the existing part, double click on the feature you want to change and then edit the dimension to modify.

A shaft should only have two variables, diameter and length.
