Just woundering what modeling techniques other use to make weldments. Our weld prep is part of the sub-components. (I.E. added chamfers for beveled welds). The actual weldments are done as assemblies.
Do you fill in the weld prep or add features for fillet welds? Is this done at the weldment assembly?.
Any difference between large vrs. small weldments?
