Hi,
I am attempting to take a Pro/E 'Pro Piping' model and create center lines through out the tubing that will appear in a file format that is compatible with PATRAN/NASTRAN.
I have tried to export the file as an IGES including the datums, curves, and points but I end up with a plethora of layered centerlines that I cannot mesh. I have been directed to complete the analysis using beam elements so this is why I need to resolve the center line issue that I have.
If any one has any suggestions for me I would greatly appreciate it.
