Creo 2 cabling with fixed length failure
Our cables are routed and then each leg length is fixed. Sometimes if modifications are made to the cable a leg will fail because it cannot maintain its assigned fixed length. After a cable leg has failed is there a way to unfix the length?
When I try to change to free length I must select the cable segment but that is not possible because the section disappears after failing.

Hi,
Use the 'free length' command to free up the entire cable based on the new position. Once you click 'free length', select the failed segment in the model tree. Unfortunately it will free the length of the entire cable segment and not just the original leg you fixed, so you'll have to go through and re-fix any segments you had set to fixed.
