I haven't used the Reference Viewer for some time but I am trying to track down a circular reference. I have watched several videos that go through the process and all have a "Paths" tab in the Reference Viewer which I do not have. Did something change in Creo 4.0 or earlier that got rid of the Paths tab?
I usually use the .crc text file that creo generates in the working directory. So in the one below, the problem is in the middle segment "extrude_1, id=470)". It's always the middle one but you can sometimes solve the problem by correcting assembly constraints.
1 CIRCULAR REFERENCE LOOPS FOUND
LOOP # 1
Depth of loop is 3
Feature number 21 (COMPONENT, id = 350)
in model 20083265 refers to:
Feature number 5 (EXTRUDE_1, id = 470)
in model 20083265-WELD1 refers to:
Feature number 21 (COMPONENT, id = 350)
in model 20083265 - circle closed.
Hi,
I have to revive this thread, beacause I have exactly the same problem.
In almost every video I see there is a "Path"-Tab inside the reference-viewer, but it doesn't exist in my Creo.
Is there a config-pro-option to activate it ? Or how can it be displayed ?
In the creo-Help it says:
Thanks,
Maik
Hi Maik,
The Paths Tab is only available with AAX (Advanced Assembly Extension):
Hi Trebla,
thanks for helping me...
Can you tell me, where I can find the licence-list you posted ?
Thanks,
Maik
Hi Maik,
I downloaded from PTC web page in 2016, so I don't remember exactly where it was. 😅
I think this is the article.
