Custom Symbol issue

Hello,

In BOM table's repeat region of creo drawing
file, I have set relations using user defined parameter (udp). I am trying to
create a custom symbol which takes udp into it. Value of udp is not populated
once I use custom symbol” has been created.

In other words, I would like to add variable text of symbol as user defined parameter of repeat region..

Put this in your symbol:

\rpt.rel.YOUR_USER_DEFINED_PARAMETER_HERE\

It is required to be set in variable text or simply in the name?

Its not variable text. Its just text that is located in the symbol wherever you want it.
