Darwing Format question

Our drawing formats have a table for revisions created in the .frm .

The first row of the table has a cell text height of .12" and the
justifications are center middle with the exception of the "Description
of Change" which is left middle.

When I insert another row all cell heights default to a height of
.156250" with left justification (that's not even the default note
height in Pro).

Each cell has to be edited to the correct heights and justification.

Why does it not default to the existing upper row cell height? Can this
be corrected in the .frm?

Tables default to the settings in your drawing options file. Change the text height in the drawing options file to the value you want, then create the table and it will default to the value you need. If ptc has put a way to handle this more gracefully I would like to know.

Bill

Bill,

If you mean the .dtl file, ours has a drawing_text_height = 0.18750 .

There must be something else driving the 0.15625 height.

My understanding of tables is that they adopt the default settings when
they are created and then that is the default for that table. They do not
follow the drawing defaults and they cannot be changed afterwards. So if
you want a table with different (specific) defaults then you have to
change the drawing defaults before you create the table. And I'm not sure
if justification is even included in the defaults for tables.
