Defining a distance between two parts in an assembly?

Hello everyone!

I was just wondering how do I set the distance between two objects in an assembly as I assemble them?

You need to decide what is going to control the distance. Usually there would either be a datum plane that would be used with an align-offset or a CSYS that would use an offset CSYS. There's no general purpose blob.

You could also pattern the second one and use an offset distance there, but that also requires some reference to set the offset direction.
