Design Exploration : Step creation

In a Design Exploration session, I want to be able to save a STL or STEP file of each solution ; Currently, the save as option is not available

Hi 

The Design Exploration extension is aimed as browsing through the design process. 

It enables to save either a solution (the end of the design process) or the whole session with the entirety of the possibles (.tmz extension).

Hi Remy,

Well understood your purpose.

My proposition is to have the meaning to launch the different solutions in prototype, test them, and select in Dex the solution choosed.

So to have the possibility to create a STL ou Step for each solution in Dex before validate the right design.

DEX really is about free thinking creativity, browsing through idea randomly.

If the solution variants can be pulled off with discreet means then maybe it make same to rely on Family Table.

Is it something relevant to your use case ?

I understand we can use family table, but it's an non additional value operation since we will redo in family table the solutions we will prototype and we will delete all rejected solution and keep only one. So 2 times the same job : 1 time in DeX, 1 time in Family table.: Not efficient.

My wish is to be able to create Stp of each solution in DeX.
