We have enhanced the usage of setting the SURFACE, AXIS and ORIENT values to your 'Fastener Data File' *.dat.
In the past you have to enter all ID pairs for all listed fastener in your *.dat file.
Now you can do following:
Add a name to SURFACE, AXIS and ORIENT instead of item ids.
Add columns #SURACE, #AXIS and #ORIENT to control item ids of each fastener instance
The advantages are:
Use one name instead of different item ids.
Easier to customize, more intuitive and clearer.
More flexibility – different ids for each instance in your Fastener Data File
Example 1:
Before:
SURFACE | 29 | 12 | 128 | 296 |
AXIS | 10 | 8 | 117 | 24 |
After:
SURFACE | PLACEMENT_SURFACE |
AXIS | PLACEMENT_AXIS |
Example 2:
Before:
SURFACE | 29 | 12 | 128 | 296 | 75 | ... |
AXIS | 10 | 8 | 117 | 24 | 12 | ... |
Aftern:
SYMBOL | DN ... | #SURFACE | #AXIS |
... | |||
FASTENER1 | 10 | 29 | 12 |
FASTENER2 | 10 | 12 | 8 |
FASTENER3 | 10 | 128 | 117 |
... |
