Hello
I would like to know basic difference between different dimensions like add,rdd and dd.
What would be impact on above dimensions if I set config option "create_drawing_dims_only" as NO.
Is there specific guidlines on which type of dimension need to be preffered with respect to specific scenario or it is purely on user choice?
Thanks in advance.
Regards
Ketan
create_drawing_dims_only" as NO causes Creo to create dimension records in the related component. This causes the component to be marked as modified. If the changed component is not saved the dimension will be lost from the drawing.
Link works - maybe a glitch?
Every time I click on the original link I get redirected to this:
If I manually remove everything after the second "html", the page loads fine.

Apparently this is part of Google Analytics.

Guess I will open a new thread in the eSupport area.
I don't see any "ga" suffix in Martin's original post, nor is one added when I select it.
I do use an ad-blocker (uBlock Origin) and Firefox. I also think I have javascript disabled.

I get the same result. The "&_ga...." isn't displayed, but it is added once I click on it.
Interestingly, the added numbers are different for me, but the end result (a 404 page) is the same.
The suffix number is used to identify the particular user across domains where cookies can't work. Each user/victim of this scheme gets a unique number.
Have you disabled cookies?

No. And it happens for me with all three major browsers. PTC is able to reproduce the problem internally so they are now working on it.
Perhaps you are getting tracked because you are under maintenance and therefore worth tracking. 🙂
I am also not a fan of the automatic promotion of ":" ")" to an emoji. If I wanted an emoji I would have put one in.
