Dimensions Won't Display

I am trying to edit the length of the truck framerails in the attached screen shots. I have selected the framerails and tried to use both Edit and Edit Definition. The main consturction dimensions of the 2D frame section itself will display, but the extruded length of the framerails dimension will not so I can't edit the length.

Attached Chassis 1 shows the part.

Attached Chassis 2 shows attempting to use Edit.

Attached Chassis 3 shows attempting to use Edit Definition.

Someone else originally drew this and I think that the length of the framerails is constrained about the Cutoff Datum Plane. Is there a way I can remove the constraint or some other way that I can turn on the length dimension to edit the length?

I am going to suggest that the extrude is "up to surface" like a datum plane, so the length is set by the datum plane value. You will need to edit the plane or redefine the extrude depth.

Thank you Antonius. It was associated with the Cut Off Plane. Thanks again. This lead me to what I need.
