Is the Document Control group supposed to stay neutral to a design? Or should they have a say to the documents they control. Should they be able to reject a drawing of yours because they thing the part will have vibration problems or be prone to heat or because it does not meet the specs of a proper design? Should they be able to do this even if they are a group who include engineers? Shouldn't that be the job of the engineer and Doc Control be completely neutral towards design? Shouldn't they only care about moving a document along through their process?
I would like to receive your opinions maybe if you want to send me some processes your doc con group follows? Thanks in advanced.

Alfonso
