I need to know if there is a way to manage the active dimension when dragging a csys or datum point.
To clarify, I need to drag a point around that is spherically bound to a Csys.
I need Z to remain constant and drag only in theta or axis angle.
This is similar with a cylindrical Csys...
You only get one drag handle that manages 3 associated dimensions.
How do I switch which of the 3 dimensions are affected while dragging?
(this is my current use case but even a cartecian point presents this challenge)
Can you possibly provide an image or video, demonstrating what you are trying to do? It would help in understading the question.
Thanks.
Just make a second CSYS and try controlling which direction it drags.
I need to know I can drag in X or in Y or in Z. There is only one drag handle.
Good afternoon, TomD.inPDX!
Link to a similar article. Maybe it will be useful for you in solving your problem - "how to retrieve ALL csys parameters":

Successes.
Thank you, Evgrofov.
I am hoping for a direct hot-key to switch from input to input when you only have a single grab handle.
I am trying to get away from having to create my own drag handle/relation to make this work.
This is a UI that programmers had to grapple with at some point.
